virtualcafe8

The University of Galway are running online education sessions in January and February of next year entitled: " Getting to Grips with the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act 2015 ".

Their training session on Ireland's new capacity law is designed for self-advocates only. This law is about who can make decisions and what supports they can use. Designed specifically for people with intellectual disabilities, other disabled people might also benefit from the accessible way they deliver this training. It is held online via Zoom and is free to attend, but places are limited.
